Cheverny Castle : the owner is still there

The construction began during 17th century and is still the property of the same family. Each generation took care of the castle. Hergé (comic book creator from Belgium) chose this castle as captain Haddock’s home, and named it « Moulinsart castle ». Each day (between 15.00 h or 17.00 h, upon seasons), you can see around 100 dogs having their dinner, these dogs are used for hunting.
