Chenonceau Castle
Katherine Briçonnet began its construction in 1513. Then Diane de Poitiers dreamt about a bridge. Then Catherine de Médicis dreamt about 2 galeries in the castle : Chenonceau is named women castle. Chenonceau castle presents a wonderful decoration. During the second world war Chenonceau castle helped refugees to escape to free zone (escape door is on the left of queen’s throne).
